Directions to Dargle Dale
Coming from a Durban Direction and Heading North on the N3
- After Pietermaritzburg, take the "Cedara" off-ramp. (It is one off-ramp after the Hilton Off-ramp).
- Glide off to the left (obviously!) Then turn right over the N3. Proceed along the old main road in a northerly direction. (Pass the Cedara turn-off on your left.)
- After about three kilometres, you will come across a steep, but short, dip in the road. After the dip, there is a "Road Camp" on the right. Immediately after the Road Camp, turn right into D292. (If you cross the N3 again, you've gone too far!)
- The D292 immediately becomes a dirt road. After 500 metres, it crosses a concrete railway bridge. Turn left after the railway bridge, into the second driveway on the left.
- Welcome to Dargle Dale!
Coming South from a Johannesburg Direction
- After the "Underberg and Southern Drakensberg" off-ramp, take the "Cedara" off-ramp. (It's the one just before the Hilton turn-off). Glide off to the left and keep left.
- Proceed along the old main road in a northerly direction (back the way you came and pass the Cedara College turn-off on your left).
- After about three kilometres, you will come across a steep, but short, dip in the road. After the dip, there is a "Road Camp" on the right. Immediately after the Road Camp, turn right into D292. (If you cross the N3 again, you've gone too far!).
- The D292 immediately becomes a dirt road. After 500 metres, it crosses a concrete railway bridge. Turn into the second driveway on the left after the railway bridge.
- Welcome to Dargle Dale!
